I found your club card on my windshield, and even though I'm not a member of your club I am hoping someone from your group can lend some advice. I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X that won't crank. When I put the key in everything comes on (lights, radio, key buzzer) but when I turn the key the motor does nothing. No clicking or noise of any kind. Found the grounding cable loose and replaced the bolt holding it on (it's still attached to the frame). Is there a certain place it should be attached on the motor? Also, I was told there may be a clutch switch under the dash. Since the clutch has to be pushed in so it will start, the switch allows the motor to turn over. Is there such a switch? Where can I find it (besides under the dash Lol)? My son-in-law tapped on the starter cylinoid (sp?) but it still didn't crank. Any other suggestions as to what the problem could be? I'm looking to sell it so I really need to get it fixed! Thank you in advance for any info you can give!
